100 g (3.5 oz) butter
500 g (17.5 oz) fresh cottage cheese
200 ml (6.80 fl oz) sour cream
1 tablespoon salt
1 sprig chives

Mix the butter with an electrical mixer until frothy. Add fresh cottage cheese, sour cream and salt. Mix it all together well. In the end add finely chopped chives.
Serve the spread on brown or corn bread.
If you like your spreads a bit spicy, you can add a bit of grated horseradish.
